Production, environmental protection
Environmental protection has always been given big emphasis in the course of the operation of the plant. Czigler&Czigler Timber Production and Trading Kft., following the accession to the European Union, have started a large-scale environmental development project, with the aim of coming within the line of EU-standard to a maximum rate. The aim of this investment is to reduce the dust pollution, imposing load on the environment. The HURRICAN-type dust separation and filtering equipment has been installed for this purpose, together with the Gross-type briquetting machine connected to it, converting the chips and saw dust separated during processing into fuel (timber briquette). That way the suction happens in a closed system, the exhaust air can be inhaled.
(Dust emission is 0.2 mg/m³). The silencer mounted on the air lock of the drying kiln serves similar aim, by decreasing the sound damage below the specified noise level (35 decibels)

Acknowledging all these struggles the Hungarian Environmental Protection Inspectorate declared Czigler&Czigler Kft. to be a "green dot" in 2004.
